This is an art blog.
So I tend to avoid putting too much personal stuff here (specially since there’s a link for this tumblr on my website), but today I just feel like putting this out there. Yesterday I came out to my parents, and it generally went pretty well even though I was nervous as fuck and felt the most vulnerable I’ve ever felt. They were a bit taken aback and today they weren’t very...

kateordie: drawnout: It’s one of the scariest/happiest things a queer person can do: come out. Whether bad or good, funny or dramatic, it usually makes for an interesting story, and we want to hear those stories. Drawn OUT is a comic book anthology of nonfictional coming out stories, and we are… That’s right, guys - it’s here! Megan and I are very excited to be making it happen. Please...

An armorer's take on boobplate →
womenfighters: This is pretty awesome, definitely worth a look if you’re interested in this particular issue of women’s armor. I especially appreciate the consideration that values context and internal consistency.

Anonymous asked: I *love* that series. It reminds me of American Gods, have you read it? They're like the gods of olden days combined with the "gods" of new.

Anonymous asked: not that it's my job to dictate how you categorise your art, but I think it may be a bit more of an interesting concept (particularly given the way you've illustrated it) to make "the stripper" belong to "the authority" category.

So I made a video to show the actual Ever After book… Well, just because. It’s a book and you don’t really get all its bookiness when you post the illustrations separately online. Also, a master post with all the illustrations. I wanted to do one here, but tumblr will only take 10 images in a post. Ok, I promise this is the last you’ll hear of this project. Moving on!
